She is the CEO / Creative Designer of Ericka's House of Elegance, a unique boutique that offers products and services ranging from hand-crafted home spa products, jewelry, hair care, and small gifts to pet care and tools for personal relaxation. Ericka, a single mother of 2 girls, started as a mobile hairstylist and moonlighted in the hospitality industry. This allowed her the stability she needed to take care of her family and the flexibility to cater to her clients. Her interest in arts & crafts skyrocketed and she started making jewelry and other small gifts for family members and friends. Ericka taught herself how to crochet by watching a multitude of YouTube videos. She decided to incorporate her love of crafts into her growing business. Now, she's able to do everything she loves and take care of the people most important to her.
